for the past year, i’ve been working on the mirror archive, an online site of documentation of the first decades of artists who create work with software and for the internet.

i led a workshop on custom game controllers in the ucla game lab. we went through the process of turning broken or old computer keyboards and mice into functioning prototypes for custom controllers, as a way to create fast and inexpensive experiments that move away from standard forms of interaction.
